Terms of Service

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your engagement with ExpoLeap Workshops™ LLC ("ExpoLeap," "we," "our," or "us"), including any workshop booking, consultation, or professional development service offered through expoleap.app or by direct communication. By requesting or attending any ExpoLeap service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

ExpoLeap Workshops™ LLC provides in-person and virtual professional development workshops, facilitated by Johnny López Figueroa, covering academic research methodology, AI literacy, iPad-based instruction, and related topics. Workshop content, structure, and duration are determined at the time of booking.

All workshops are facilitated directly by ExpoLeap and are not sublicensed or outsourced to third parties.

3. Booking and Confirmation

To book a workshop, send an inquiry to expo.leap.workshops@gmail.com. A booking is confirmed only when both parties have agreed in writing to the date, location (or virtual platform), duration, topic, and any applicable fees. We reserve the right to decline any engagement at our discretion.

4. Fees and Payment

Workshop fees are quoted on a per-engagement basis depending on duration, scope, travel requirements, and audience size. All fees must be agreed upon in writing before the workshop date. Payment terms (including any deposits or installment schedules) are specified in the booking confirmation.

Travel and accommodation expenses, if applicable, are the responsibility of the booking institution unless otherwise negotiated.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellation by client: Cancellations made 14 or more calendar days before the scheduled date incur no fee. Cancellations within 13–7 days are subject to a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 6 days of the event are subject to a 50% fee.
• Cancellation by ExpoLeap: If we must cancel due to illness, emergency, or force majeure, we will offer a full rescheduling at no additional cost. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
• Rescheduling: One free rescheduling is available with at least 7 days' notice. Additional rescheduling requests may be subject to a coordination fee.

6. Intellectual Property

All workshop materials, slides, handouts, frameworks, and methodologies created by ExpoLeap Workshops™ LLC are protected by copyright and remain the exclusive property of ExpoLeap Workshops™ LLC. Attendees may use materials for their own professional practice but may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or publicly present them without prior written consent.

ExpoARCH™ and ExpoLeap Workshops™ are trademarks of ExpoLeap Workshops™ LLC.

7. Participant Conduct

You agree to ensure that workshop attendees behave professionally and respectfully. ExpoLeap reserves the right to end a session early if conduct is disruptive or creates an unsafe environment, without obligation to provide a refund.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Workshops and materials are provided "as is." While ExpoLeap makes every effort to provide accurate, high-quality content, we do not warrant that any specific outcome — including student performance, research publication, or institutional accreditation — will result from attendance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ExpoLeap Workshops™ LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability in any matter arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific workshop giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Puerto Rico.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website or by email. Your continued engagement with our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
